I had an in-house interview in August with Park Sang-hyun, who is the team leader of Muhan IT's AI data mining team.

Q. Please introduce yourself and introduce your current work in detail.

I'm Park Sang-hyun, the head of the AI data mining team.


To briefly introduce the team, it is a team that builds all the DBs in the company. 

We are making 2D and 3D spatial information data using the actual data information. Simply put, maps such as Kakao Maps and Naver Maps are provided in 2D or 3D format according to the purpose of the user system. We are also building various AI learning data necessary for AI service development.


Among them, my job is to support my team members so that they can build a DB smoothly.




Q. What is the difference between the concerns you had as an employee and the concerns you had as a team leader?

When I worked as an employee, there were many concerns focused on personal growth, such as focusing on work performance and performance and wanting to be recognized by the company.


However, as a team leader, I think about how my team members can work effectively, such as coordinating their work, collaborating, and showing leadership, considering team growth together. Unlike before, we feel the importance of working with our team members to produce results, as the role of supporting and leading team members, and exercising decision-making and leadership is becoming more important to achieve the goals of the entire organization.




Q. What do you think is the strength of our team?

Due to the nature of our database construction work, our team has to work together with many people, and smooth communication and efficient collaboration are our strengths. 


Based on their excellent communication skills, team members share information seamlessly inside and outside, solve problems, share knowledge, and perform tasks together. We are confident that this will improve the team's performance and facilitate smooth cooperation within the organization, and will greatly help us to proceed efficiently.
