CEO Bae Kyung Rok of MuhanIT announced on the 4th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Leica Geosystems (President Asia, Faheem Khan), a global spatial information company that leads the geography and spatial information industry with state-of-the-art digital solutions, to cooperate in the field of Pavement Management System (PMS) and road asset management. At the meeting, the two companies also signed a confidentiality agreement (NDA) to confirm their close cooperation.
Through this agreement, the two companies will promote technical cooperation and joint projects in the field of road asset management and spatial information, and will lay the foundation for entering overseas markets as well as strengthening domestic market competitiveness. Muhan IT plans to increase road management efficiency through its spatial information analysis software "AiMAPS," and Leica Geosystems plans to create synergy by upgrading data quality based on global technology and equipment.
Leica Geosystems is an affiliate of the Hexagon Group based in Switzerland and is recognized for its technological prowess in various fields such as surveying, construction, engineering, infrastructure, mining, and mobility. In particular, it has demonstrated global leadership by supporting major domestic companies in realizing smart construction for the past 16 years.
